      JOHN ALBERT PETERSON, son of the couple of Jonas and Karin Peterson, came with his parents and brother, Carl, to this country and Round Rock, Texas, in 1885.
      He is a farmer and landowner of many years in the Swedish community of Hutto. Mr. Peterson was born in 1878 in Öggestorp, Småland, and has another brother, Axel, living in Hutto, and the sisters, Emma, Clara and Augusta.
      In 1904, he married Lillie Peterson from Round Rock, Texas. She was born there in 1882, and her parents were among the first settlers in the area. Her father was a blacksmith, and of Norwegian origin. Her parents are both dead and buried in the Palm Valley Cemetery. A sister of Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Claus Peterson, is also living in Hutto. The children in the family are: Hilding, 1906, LeRoy, 1908, Edith, 1911, Arner, 1913, and Lawrence, 1916. They are members of the Swedish Lutheran Church in Hutto, where Mr. Peterson is serving as representative and is very active in the church.
      Mr. Peterson started farming in 1902, where he leased a property for e few years, but he then bought a farm which he later sold and bought the beautiful home where be now lives. This place has been improved with modern buildings. The father who is now pretty old, lives with his son. The mother died in Hutto, in 1908.
